If you have ever been curious about the condition of your heart I.e whether you have potential heart problem or not, here is a simple method that might help you in that regard.
It is very important to know whether your heart is healthy or not, because you can thus prevent a heart attack. And according to recent studies people who are flexible and can supple enough to reach their toes have a healthy heart!
To determine if you have heart problem or not, use this method: you have to sit on the floor first, with your legs stretched and your toes pointing up.
Then try to reach out and touch your toes with your hands.
If you are flexible enough to touch them, that most definitely means you have no potential heart problem and very healthy too, amazingly!
This study was carried out in USA (North Texas) and it involved 526 participants aged 20 to 83 years. While they were trying to touch their toes their blood pressure was measured and the arteries and heart activity was closely observed. Finally, it was confirmed that participants with heart disease couldn’t touch their toes.
This research found a link between the body and the artery elasticity, especially in participants over 40 years of age.
Try this method and if you can touch your toes while sitting straight, your heart is still in a good condition. But if you cannot it might be time to visit your cardiologist.
